Tatutina is a mother-daughters team that creates art with vibrant colors and happy designs available for licensing.

Tatutina, Inc. started in 1979, in the basement of our home in Massachusetts. Barbara Ottmar, Founder and artist starting hand painting her designs on children’s t-shirts, sweatshirts and other garment items. After several years, we opened a small retail store that featured our signature hand painted shirts as well as children’s wooden products, greeting cards, original art, and anything we could paint with our fun designs and colors! We also started wholesaling our products to stores in New England and then across the US.  Tatutina today includes Barbara along with 2 of her daughters: Georgia Florena Shaban, artist/product development and Roberta O’Neill, manager of the business. Together, along with their dedicated customer service manager, Liz Laliberte,  quality suppliers and vendors, this little company that started in a garage has grown to a small business that produces a full line of products for children and adults. We are located in Pawtucket, RI where we have a colorful studio filled with art and design, as well as a warehouse full of product available for sale online.

Everything we create is inspired by our family, homes and art.  Our mission is to bring unique design & products into this world that reflect a happy and fun lifestyle.
